LALINET Constitution and By Laws
The Latin American Lidar Network (LALINET) is a cooperative, non-profit scientific network, composed of researchers, institutions, and observation stations across Latin America and the Caribbean. LALINET became operational as a scientific network in 2013. It was established to fill a knowledge gap in atmospheric aerosol vertical distribution and its impact on weather and climate in South America. Although its origins date back to 2001, when the first Workshop on Lidar Measurements in latin America began with the exchange of researchers and the training and education of new generations of Lidar Researchers.
LALINET Guidlines and Code of Conducts
The following LALINET guidelines are based on the founding statutes of the network and aim to provide clear directions for scientific cooperation, responsible data use, and capacity building in Latin America and the Caribbean. This Code of Conduct establishes the fundamental values that should guide participation in LALINET, ensuring an inclusive, respectful, and ethical environment in all network activities.
